What 𗌶 means
Read its meaning from a Tangut text, not its Unicode label.
The Unicode name identifies the character; it is not a translation key.
Western Xia authorities commissioned Tangut around 1036 as a state writing system and identity marker. Its design drew on Chinese writing; Khitan and Jurchen were separate state scripts developed alongside it. Tangut appears in Buddhist translations and classical works. It remained in use after the Western Xia dynasty fell; later glossaries and excavated manuscripts helped scholars recover it.
Why does 𗌶 show as a box?
A Tangut-capable font has to draw it.
This is a text character, so its visible shape depends on the installed font. A blank or boxed glyph points to missing Tangut font coverage; it does not add another meaning.
