What 𗍚 means

zar¹ is a reconstructed reading, not a translation of 𗍚.

Tangut writing appears to have taken shape under Li Deming, with Chinese and possibly Khitan models; his son Li Yuanhao standardized it and ordered its use in 1036. The earliest known surviving example is an official document from 1072. Later texts include Buddhist scripture, Chinese translations, military writing, literature, and state records. These script links do not establish this graph's meaning.
