What 𗏟 means
The Unicode name identifies the character; it is not a translation.
Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary reference 3573 and Clauson’s Tangut dictionary entry 3287 identify places to look it up. A structural index breaks 𗏟 into three written components, 𘡃, 𘠒, and 𘦜. These references help a specialist locate and compare the glyph; the component breakdown alone gives a newcomer neither its pronunciation nor its word meaning.
Why does 𗏟 belong to Tangut history?
Tangut writing served the Western Xia state and survived it.
The script was disseminated by 1036 for government schools, official records, diplomacy, and Buddhist translations. That date marks the script’s state-backed spread, not the first appearance of this particular character.
Western Xia fell to the Mongols in 1227, but Tangut writing continued in religious and monumental settings; the last known example is dated 1502. Its role shifted from state administration and book production toward religious use, inscriptions, preservation, and later study.
Historical and specialist: this is useful as a Tangut text specimen or identifier, not a self-explanatory modern message.
Do not treat an index label or component breakdown as a translation.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗏟 show as a box?
The app or its selected font cannot display it. Both need Tangut support for this supplementary-plane character; a missing glyph does not change the character’s code point.
