What 𗙬 means
It is a Tangut character used for transliteration. A Tangut dictionary labels it this way: it represents material from another language.
Tangut writing developed in the 11th century for Western Xia’s official and cultural life. Researchers cite an official document from 1072 as its earliest transmitted example. The script carried Buddhist books and remained in use through the Yuan and Ming period before becoming obsolete. Its structure follows Chinese character traditions; comparisons with Khitan script do not establish a direct link to 𗙬.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗙬 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
