What 𗢦 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses 𗢦 as “to amass.”
The Tangut script was devised in the 11th century to write the Tangut language and support Buddhist translation. Its forms drew on Chinese and Khitan writing (Khitan was another historical script), but Tangut is its own writing system. Surviving works include official records, Buddhist texts, legal documents and law codes, Confucian classics, and original literature. The latest known Tangut inscription dates to 1502.
A specialist historical character for Tangut reading, language study, and script study.
