What 𗪜 means
In Tangut, 𗪜 means “origin” or “source.”
Tangut was spoken in the Western Xia state. Its script served government, books, and Buddhist translations; after the Mongol conquest, it fell out of everyday use and became a subject of study.
A Tangut Buddhist catalog uses 𗪜 as an index mark for chapters 31–40, then at chapter 31 again.
