What 𗯔 means
Its dictionary gloss is “heavy.”
The English index to Li Fanwen’s Tangut–Chinese dictionary lists 𗯔 under “heavy.” This translates a Tangut word; the gloss is not a general symbol meaning.
Tangut writing was disseminated under Western Xia in 1036 for official and cultural use, including Buddhist texts and legal documents. 𗯔 appears in woodblock editions of Homophones, a Tangut dictionary; woodblock printing reproduces pages from carved blocks.
Why does 𗯔 look like a box?
Your font lacks Tangut support, so the glyph cannot be drawn.
A Tangut-capable font lets software display 𗯔. Without one, it may appear as an empty box or fallback glyph; the encoded character is still 𗯔.
Historical writing; it needs context in an ordinary message.
“Heavy” translates one Tangut word, not a general symbol for weight.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗯔 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
