What 𘛲 means
It means “to patrol” in Tangut. Western Xia’s first emperor commissioned the script about 1036 for state use and Buddhist texts.
The Khitan, another people with a state-backed script, provided a model. Tangut resembles Chinese writing but was not derived from it; it remained in use through the Yuan and Ming dynasties before becoming obsolete.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘛲 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
