What 🭕 means
It is one cell in a screen mosaic.
Teletext began in the early 1970s as a broadcast service for text and simple graphics. A 1983 North American Videotex/Teletext standard describes mosaic elements shown joined or separated; Unicode maps this smooth-mosaic form to position 63 in Teletext's G3 set of smooth shapes.
In terminal art, neighboring cells combine into pictures, borders, charts, or game screens. On its own, 🭕 has no fixed conversational meaning.
