Text symbol

What 𜵏 means

It is a five-cell computer-graphics tile.

The pattern fills cells 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7: the left column and one right cell in row three. Kaypro's 1983 guide describes 24 graphics cells; Unicode maps this pattern to reverse code D1. Reverse video swaps light and dark.

Terminal commands can add color to mosaics made from adjacent octants.

A technical tile for terminal screen graphics.

If it shows as a box, the font may lack its glyph.

Questions people ask

1

Why does my octant show as a box?

Your selected font may lack the glyph. Cascadia Code added all octants in 2404.23, announced April 30, 2024; another octant-capable font should show it.
