𜴰 fills four of eight patches in a terminal text cell. In terminal art, octant blocks make compact text pictures.

Text symbol

What 𜴰 means

It specifies the filled patches in a single character cell.

In a 24 grid, parts 1, 4, 5 and 6 are filled; the digits label patches, not a number to read aloud.

Proposed in 2021 for terminal mosaics, octants refine older half-block and quadrant graphics. The supplement also collects old computer symbols and teletext, text pages sent with television broadcasts.
