What 𣾽 means
A chữ Nôm character for xối: to pour water down.
Chữ Nôm adapted Chinese characters and their parts to write Vietnamese; it developed over centuries after Vietnam regained independence in 939. Huỳnh Tịnh Của’s Đại Nam quấc âm tự vị, a Vietnamese dictionary published in 1895–96, records this glyph for xối as the act of pouring water down. The same entry also records the phrase xối xả with a sense of abundance.
