What 𪻳 means
It appears in names and in an incense phrase.
A Southern Song reference collection preserves one occurrence. Ming incense texts use 𪻳 in 琪𪻳香, a qinan fragrance name. A second text lists 奇南 and 伽南 as spellings and says their basis is unsettled; that is word-level variation, not proof the characters share an origin.
Taiwan's character registry lists it for household-registration use, and a dictionary records it in Taiwanese names.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪻳 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension C block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
