What 𰔹 means
It means “to scoop or ladle out” in Zhuang. Sawndip is a traditional character-based script used to write Zhuang.
The same Latin spelling, daek, also names a grasshopper, but that is a separate word. The recorded Sawndip forms differ: 𮔹 for the noun and 𰔹 for the verb.
Sawndip adapts Chinese-character forms to write Zhuang. Tang-era steles dated 682 and 697 contain nonstandard characters from the region, showing the wider tradition of local character writing.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
