What 徿 means
Its compounds name two different gaits.
The oldest recorded definition appears in the Yupian, a Chinese dictionary compiled by Gu Yewang around 543: 行不正, “walking not straight.”
The later Kangxi Dictionary records 徿徸 for unsteady walking and 徿㣚 for walking straight; the compound supplies the direction.

1Why does 徿 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
