What does 🢞 mean?
It is the half-width member of a coordinated heavy-arrow-shaft set.
A 2011 Unicode proposal lists four matching widths, with their shafts vertically aligned. A 2012 Unicode status record connects the broader arrow repertoire to Wingdings and Webdings, older symbol fonts.
Within the set, 🢜 is the reference width; 🢝 is two-thirds, 🢞 one-half, and 🢟 one-third. The sequence makes a useful font specimen for comparing the aligned shafts.
Technical and typographic; it fits a font specimen or diagram.
If a reader must follow its direction, label the diagram in words too.
