𜹃 is a curved piece from a Hewlett-Packard terminal character set. In the HP 2640 series, pieces formed large headlines. Alone, it is a fragment.

What 𜹃 means

It supplies one curve for a large terminal character. On HP 2640 terminals in the 1970s, an optional character ROM—a chip holding extra display shapes—provided the large-type set.

Each large title character used nine cells, three across and three high; this one fills the lower-right curve. A 2024 Visual Studio editor example showed extra line spacing separating rows.

Questions people ask

1

Why does 𜹃 show as a box?

The selected font may not include it. Cascadia Code, a monospaced Microsoft font, added the large-type range in 2024; a complete character still needs all nine cells arranged in a tight grid.
