What ㈩ means
It marks the tenth item in a numbered list.
Read it as “(十)”—“ten in parentheses.” Unicode describes ㈠–㈩ as parenthesized Han numerals, the number signs used in Chinese-character writing, intended as numbered-list bullets. These forms imitate typewriter versions of circled bullets. The enclosed-symbol set reflects legacy East Asian standards, including Japanese JIS X 0208 and JIS X 0213.
Its role is typographic: it puts 十 in parentheses as one enclosed list marker. Compatibility normalization can expand ㈩ into ordinary parentheses around 十, so one character may become three while keeping the same reading.
