Philippine Double Punctuation

Hanunó'o punctuation uses ᜶ for a long, sentence-like pause; it can also close an ambahan poem. This long danda, or pause mark, pairs with ᜵ for a shorter pause.

What ᜶ means

Its tradition is linked to South Indian Pallava writing. The route into the Philippines is uncertain; it may have passed through Kawi writing in western Java between the 10th and 14th centuries.

A 2013 account documents ambahan as bamboo-inscribed poetry still composed and recited for courtship and social occasions.

Why does ᜶ show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
