⤏

rightwards triple dash arrow

Rightwards Triple Dash Arrow

⤏ is a technical arrow with no universal reading. MathML (a format for mathematical notation) places it between expressions and lets it stretch; these are layout rules, while the surrounding notation supplies the relation.

What ⤏ means

Its meaning depends on the surrounding notation.

MathML marks it as infix (between expressions), “stretchy” and an “accent”: layout rules, not a universal reading like “implies.”

A 1999 MathML draft used dbkarow for a private-use code without shared meaning. A 2003 ISO entity list maps that name to ⤏, “right doubly broken arrow.”

Technical; the surrounding notation defines its role.

It does not mean “implies” by itself.

Why does ⤏ show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
