What ⇨ means
It means "next" or "leads to", just like . You'll meet it in instructions ("Settings ⇨ Privacy ⇨ Location"), in cause-and-effect notes ("rain ⇨ delays"), before a link or call to action ("Read more ⇨"), and in lists of changes ("old price ⇨ new price").
The "white" in its name is old typesetting language for an outlined shape with an empty middle; a filled shape is called "black". So ⇨ is simply the outlined version of a right arrow, and it belongs to a set: left, up, ⇨ right and down.
Because it is a text character, your font draws it. It may look thin or chunky, rounded or sharp, and it never turns into a coloured emoji picture.
Neutral and practical. Feels a little more designed than or a typed ->, good for slides, notices and instructions.
Don't use it for logical "implies" in maths; that is , a different character.
