tangsa digit nine

Tangsa Digit Nine

𖫉 is nine in Tangsa numbers, in the script’s decimal set. Lakhum Mossang developed the script from 1990 for Tangsa language varieties in India’s Arunachal Pradesh and Myanmar’s Sagaing Region. A 2013 proposal listed ten digits; a 2019 revision added letters for more sounds. As of 29 April 2026, some Indian schools teach it for Muishvung; use remains less established among other varieties, and Roman-based spellings are also used.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
