What 𖪤 means
It marks the /s/ hiss, as in English sun.
Lakhum Mossang created this alphabet in 1990 for Tangsa languages in northeast India and northwest Myanmar, starting with his Mossang (Muishvung) variety. In 2013, the script was introduced as a new design unrelated to older writing systems. In 2021, active use centered on Mossang, although the alphabet was intended for wider Tangsa varieties and Latin-based spellings were also used.
The community script committee revised the inventory in 2019–2020, adding short-vowel letters.
