S alone has no fixed message meaning. Check the sentence or label it belongs to rather than assuming a secret code. The S rank of a game and the /s at the end of a comment use different conventions.
What does /s mean?
The preceding statement was meant sarcastically. In online comments, /s normally goes at the end. It tells you not to take a deliberately absurd or cutting statement literally; it does not guarantee that the joke will land.
What does S tier mean?
S tier ranks above A. A tier list sorts things into ranked groups, such as game characters by strength. S is usually the top group, but lists with S+ or SSS add higher distinctions. Read that list's scale before treating S as the absolute ceiling.
Bare S is neutral. In a ranking, it can be high praise.
