What 𘦞 means
It is a structural element used to index and describe Tangut characters.
Tangut was a historical script for the Tangut language. 𘦞 identifies a piece in the structure of a larger Tangut character; alone, it does not spell a word. Scholars still use components to organize dictionary entries and describe character structure.
A Tangut reference book called Homonyms survives in an edition printed from carved wooden blocks. Its sample-character list is organized by components, and the left-side group pairs 𘦞 with 𘌎. The book draws on a Tangut dictionary called Synonyms, whose closing note is dated 1188; Homonyms was therefore made in 1188 or later.
Why does 𘦞 show as a box?
A font without Tangut coverage may draw a blank box instead.
The character remains in the text even when its glyph is missing; only its visible shape comes from the font. A Tangut-supporting font can display it.
Technical and historical: useful in notes on Tangut character structure, not as a standalone Tangut word.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘦞 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
