What 𘨒 means
Component 531 is an index label, not a word reading. Tangut dictionaries use component lists to describe the graphic pieces of complete characters and help readers find them. Unicode's set draws on component cataloguing traditions in Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and English reference works. The number gives no pronunciation or translation.
Western Xia commissioned the Tangut writing system in 1036 for its Buddhist canon and to express an identity distinct from Song China. It was also used for legal records, Confucian classics, military works, and literature. Its forms were influenced by Chinese and Khitan writing traditions; Khitan was another regional script.
A manuscript from Khara-Khoto probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century; the latest known Tangut inscription is dated 1502. These dates track surviving Tangut writing, not the origin of this modern component label.
What does sending 𘨒 say?
On its own, it points to Tangut writing or character analysis. In an ordinary message it does not form a complete translated sentence. In a dictionary citation, it can act as a lookup cue; in a character analysis, it identifies one piece within a larger ideograph.
The same component can have different roles in different characters. Read the surrounding ideograph or dictionary explanation before assigning it a word meaning.
Scholarly and technical; alone in casual chat, it reads like a pasted character reference.
Don't treat the isolated component as a translated Tangut word.
