What 𗋹 means
Use a Tangut input method with candidate selection.
An online Tangut IME is software for entering Tangut text. It accepts a method-specific code, shows matching characters as candidates, and lets you select one with its assigned key. Tangut Unicode labels are generated from code points, so a label acts as a catalog tag rather than a pronunciation or translation.
What does 𗋹 mean?
Its parts show how the character is built.
The Tangut script was created under imperial direction for official and cultural work in the Western Xia dynasty, also called Xixia. Surviving Tangut literature includes Buddhist translations, and the script remained in use after the dynasty ended.
A structural description breaks 𗋹 into three parts: 𘠣 on the left, 𘢌 in the middle, and 𘦧 on the right. This describes how the glyph is assembled, not a guaranteed sound or translation.
Why does 𗋹 look blank?
The receiving app may lack a Tangut font.
A blank display does not mean the character changed: the text can still be valid Unicode when the app cannot render its glyph. As of 2026-09-16, the online Tangut IME's instructions warn that some mobile apps may not render copied Tangut text.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗋹 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
