What 𗤪 means
Use hexadecimal Unicode input in software that accepts it.
The app controls the keystrokes, and a Tangut-capable font controls whether the character’s shape appears; without font support, you may see a missing-glyph box or fallback mark.
What does 𗤪 mean?
Its documented readings belong to Tangut compounds.
In 𗘎𗤪, 𗘎 is an alternative Tangut form of “seven”; the pair is glossed “seven sounds,” described as seven thunderclaps or bursts of music. Another Buddhist compound, 𗍥𘟙𗤪, is glossed “vajra pestle.” Treat both as context-bound readings, not as one standalone English gloss for 𗤪.
The Tangut script was created in 1036 under Western Xia rule for government, Buddhist translations, and a distinct state identity. It drew visual inspiration from Chinese characters and followed earlier Khitan state-script projects, yet remained a separate writing system. Tangut texts also included Chinese and Tibetan works. A manuscript found at Khara-Khoto’s ruins probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century. Tangut writing continued under Yuan and Ming rule before falling out of use.
Historical and scholarly; without Tangut context, its meaning is opaque in everyday chat.
Chinese-inspired strokes do not give it a Chinese reading; this character belongs to Tangut writing.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗤪 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
