What 𗪶 means
𗪶 is a Tangut character; its Unicode label is not its translation.
The label identifies this exact character but supplies neither a reading nor an English gloss. Its word-level value comes from Tangut text, where a transcription and the surrounding context help establish how to read it.
The Tangut script outlived Western Xia
The Tangut script was developed to write the Tangut language for Western Xia (Xixia) around 1036. It served state documents and translations of Buddhist and Chinese works. Its writing was influenced by Chinese characters, but it recorded a different language.
After Western Xia fell in 1227, Tangut writing continued for centuries; the latest known example is dated 1502.
