What 𞊚 means

The community chose a Toto alphabet that fits the language’s sounds. Early Toto writing used Bengali letters; Latin spellings also developed. Those approaches left some Toto sound distinctions unclear. Community-led work began in 2014; elder Dhaniram Toto designed the letters, and the alphabet launched in May 2015 to support literacy.
