What 𜲺 means

It filled the king's upper-left screen cell. The glyph comes from the European alternate display set of Sharp's MZ-700, launched in 1982; the other three cells completed the image. A 2022 Unicode proposal carried such legacy characters forward to convert old data, build emulators, and render text graphics.

Questions people ask

1

Can you type this on an MZ-700?

No. On the 1982 MZ-700, its alternate table was not available as a typed character or normal BASIC PRINT text; BASIC's POKE command, which writes a value directly to video memory, could display it.
