upwards triple arrow

Upwards Triple Arrow

⤊ is a technical math arrow for an upward relation between expressions; its precise reading depends on the formula. MathML, a web format for laying out math, places it between expressions and may stretch it to fit. Fonts also draw it differently.

What ⤊ means

It marks an upward relation in technical notation.

A 1999 Unicode proposal grouped the triple up arrow with relation signs, including mathematical arrows and harpoons—arrow-like marks with a barb on one end.

Why does ⤊ look different in different fonts?

Unicode does not prescribe one exact drawing.

Arrowhead spacing and shaft proportions vary by font; MathML may stretch it to fit an equation.

Technical notation; read its relation from the surrounding formula.

Why does ⤊ show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
