Block Sextant-1346

🬪 is a six-cell mosaic tile for text graphics, with four parts filled. British Teletext, a TV service for text pages and simple pictures, used such tiles; Unicode preserves them for old character sets and terminal-style displays.

What 🬪 means

A six-cell tile for low-resolution text pictures. Its 2×3 mini-grid fills parts 1, 3, 4, and 6; neighboring tiles join into larger block graphics.

The 1974 British Teletext specification defined six-cell picture tiles. A 2019 Unicode proposal says the wider set preserves old graphics and supports text-mode pictures.
