What 䬳 means
It is a compatibility form of 䬳, a variant of 粄.
A record appears in Yupian, a Chinese character dictionary compiled around 543; later dictionaries define 粄 as a cake made from ground rice.
Why does 䬳 have a separate character?
It preserves a Taiwan CNS 11643 form for conversion.
CNS 11643-1992 assigns it plane 6, position 5A3D. NFKC normalization changes it to 䬳, removing its separate code-point identity.
