What is Eight Rays Inward?
It is an inward-pointing starburst made from eight rays.
The glyph comes from the European alternate display set for Sharp’s MZ-700 home computer, released in Europe in 1983. Its character generator held 512 preset 88-pixel forms; arranging them in text cells let programs assemble screen graphics. The related points its rays outward.
