What ቱ means

Ethiopic grew from a South Arabian-related alphabet whose letters mainly marked consonants. Evidence for Proto-Ge’ez, an early stage of the tradition, is placed around the 4th–5th centuries BCE; inscriptions show a defined Ethiopic script in the 2nd–3rd-century CE, with vowel-marked syllables by the 4th century CE. It wrote Ge’ez and was adapted for Amharic, Tigrinya, Tigre, Oromo and other languages.
Why can fonts draw ቱ differently?
Different outlines can represent the same syllable. Fonts change the strokes, not its reading.
