What 𜳔 means

A character grid let text screens draw larger pictures.

Sharp MZ was a home-computer family; its European alternate character set assigned this standing-knight tile byte EC. The MZ-80K launched in 1978.

A 2021 Unicode proposal carried the graphic into a shared text repertoire for preserving old character data and supporting emulators.

Is EC a Unicode code?

No. EC is the old Sharp MZ chart slot, not a Unicode input value; the Unicode character has a separate identifier.
