What 🢧 means
The shading is part of the design, not another instruction.
Follow the arrowhead: 🢧 points right. Beside a destination it gives direction; between steps it can mean “go on to this.” The thick edge gives the hollow arrow a shadowed appearance. “White” means its interior is unfilled, not that it must appear white on every screen.
This design comes from Wingdings 3, a font that supplies pictures and symbols in place of letters. A 2011 Unicode proposal sought to give such symbols their own text identities, so they could be exchanged and searched without relying on the original font mapping. Displaying the arrow still requires a font that contains it.

2Questions people ask
1Why do I see a square instead of the arrow?
Your app may lack a font that can display it. A missing character can appear as a box, a question mark or a blank. A font containing this arrow is needed to show it.
