What 𜰥 means

It came from Sharp’s Japanese MZ display set.

The Sharp MZ-700, released in Japan in 1982, assigned 𜰥 the code F5 in its Japanese primary display table. Arranging block characters in a grid made semigraphics: simple screen pictures assembled from text characters. Unicode, the shared code system for text, proposed these characters in 2021 so older computer text could convert faithfully and emulators could display them.

Why does 𜰥 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
