What 𘣿 means
It is a structural part, not a Tangut word on its own.
Tangut writing was developed at the Western Xia court in 1036–1038 for government use and Buddhist texts, giving the kingdom a written identity distinct from the neighboring Song dynasty. Manuscripts surviving from the mid-11th to early 13th centuries include religious, legal, administrative, and literary works.
Tangut writing drew on Chinese writing and followed a precedent set by scripts of the neighboring Khitan people, while becoming its own system. As a Tangut radical, 𘣿 is a lookup part used to group complete characters; one index lists two full characters under it. Read a complete character for its word: this component alone has no translation.
