What ⯗ means
It labels a hypothetical planet in astrology.
In an astrology chart, the Transpluto glyph marks a proposed body beyond Pluto or the calculated point an astrologer assigns to it. Its interpretation depends on that chart's system; the glyph itself has no single everyday message.
Is Transpluto a real planet?
As of 2026, Transpluto is an astrological hypothesis, not a confirmed planet.
Transpluto was proposed as a body beyond Pluto to explain supposed irregularities in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune. The prediction is credited to Francis M. E. Sevin in 1946. One account credits Theodor Landscheidt with the first ephemeris in 1972; a German account instead credits Hans Hausmann with an ephemeris in 1966. An image shows the glyph by 1972 but does not identify its designer.
Why is Transpluto also called Isis?
Isis, Persephone, and Bacchus are alternate names for the same proposed object.
Proserpina is a separate hypothetical object. The overlap can be confusing because Persephone is also used as a name for Transpluto, but the two objects are not the same.
Specialist astrological notation; its reading depends on the chart's system.
Transpluto required a manual definition in Astrolog 5.4.
