What 𞋵 means
It is the Wancho-script digit for five.
The project began in 2001, when schoolboy Banwang Losu found the Latin alphabet could not capture Wancho tones while recording village information. He shared a draft in 2012 and published a primer in 2013.
In 2023, Losu said the script should support communication and preserve Wancho stories and songs shared orally. This character belongs to that writing system’s numeral set.
