What ⯥ means
It marks Admetos, a hypothetical planet in Uranian astrology. Its chart themes include blockage, stillness, density, depth and raw material, with associations to separation and cycles of ending and beginning.
How did the Admetos glyph begin?
Friedrich Sieggrün named and designed it. The Hamburg School formed in Germany during the 1920s, using symmetrical planetary relationships to read charts. Witte’s first factors—Cupido, Hades, Zeus and Kronos—appeared in a 1928 rulebook. Sieggrün’s additions—Apollon, Admetos, Vulcanus and Poseidon—joined in 1946; his discovery of Admetos is dated 19 August 1927. The name follows the set’s Greek-mythological naming style; the glyph marks an astrological factor.

Questions people ask
1Why does ⯥ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
