What 𞗷 means

It stands for six in a Bhumij number.

Ol Onal is an alphabetic script for Bhumij, a Munda language spoken in eastern India. Mahendra Nath Sardar developed it between 1981 and 1992. In 1992, Adim Bhumij Samaj selected it in a contest among three proposals; Bhumij had also been written in Odia, Bengali, Devanagari, and Latin scripts.

Why does the Ol Onal digit six look different in older examples?

The original designs were hard to reproduce in fonts.

The first digital fonts used altered shapes, and printed examples use the revised set. An older chart may show the earlier designs.
