Outlined Digit Six

𜳶 is the decimal digit six drawn as an outline. The 1983 European display set for Sharp’s MZ-700 home computer used outlined digits in logos and artwork, apart from ordinary text.

What 𜳶 means

It is a display style of ordinary six, not a new numeral.

Sharp’s MZ-700 was a home computer with a built-in character generator, a stored set of screen shapes. Its European set kept outlined capitals and digits as distinct characters.

Compatibility normalization cleans text by folding some styled characters into plain equivalents. Here it can remove the outline and leave 6; the value stays six.

Why does 𜳶 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
