What 🢫 means
It points right; the tilt and shadow are styling. Use it in a label or diagram to guide the eye to what follows. The shape alone does not specify a special operation.
Looking for a Wingdings arrow? A 2011 Unicode proposal lists this design as Wingdings 3 glyph w-3101 and says the original Wingdings fonts were included with Windows 3.1 in 1992. Encoding these symbols in Unicode was meant to make them searchable and usable across systems.
Why can fonts change how 🢫 looks?
The font supplies the shape, and some fonts do not contain it. A font without the glyph can show a blank or box; fonts that include it may draw the shadow with different proportions. When exact text matters, check the character in your editor rather than judging by its picture.
Deliberately decorative and typographic; the direction stays rightward while the font supplies the shadowed shape.
Use a common arrow when the direction must survive unfamiliar fonts; unsupported fonts can show a box or blank.
