What 𘧡 means
It is a structural piece, not a complete word.
Components and stroke order help dictionaries group full characters. A Tangut radical is a component used as a dictionary heading; systems differ.
Li Yuanhao ordered the Xixia script (Tangut writing) in 1036 for Western Xia state-building. A Tangut edition of the Buddhist canon—a collection of scriptures—was probably a main aim, alongside a distinct identity from Song China. Tangut writing followed the Khitan people, its neighbors, whose two scripts appeared about a century earlier; one was largely based on Chinese. It drew on Chinese forms and principles without deriving from Chinese. Later books included Buddhist texts, translated Chinese classics, encyclopedias, military works, and literature.
Specialist reference use; its strokes depend on Tangut-capable fonts.
Don’t read 𘧡 as a complete Tangut word; it is a component.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘧡 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
