What 𜰶 means

It forms one curved corner of a text drawing.

The European Sharp MZ and Robotron Z9001 character sets used it as a graphic cell on home computers in the 1970s and 1980s.

Why does this symbol show as a box?

Fonts decide whether the curve appears and how it looks.

Unicode's reference shape is not binding; fonts can differ. Without a supporting font, an app may show a box or blank.

GNU Unifont added the glyph in September 2024; the app still needs to use a font that contains it.

Why does 𜰶 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
