What means
It means nine, styled as an outline. The form comes from the character set on European versions of Sharp MZ computers; an early model, the MZ-80K, was released in 1978.
A 2021 Unicode proposal records the outlined MZ digits as display forms used apart from plain digits in logos and artwork. The design changes the lettering, not the number.
