Microcomputer Fragment

𜲶 is the upper-left piece of a microcomputer icon. Set all four character pieces in a 2 × 2 grid to make the whole picture; by itself, this glyph is only one corner.

What 𜲶 means

It is one cell of a computer picture made from four characters. Early home computers used semigraphics: simple pictures made from character shapes arranged in text cells. Unicode preserves legacy computer graphics for conversion and lets emulators or text-mode software reproduce them.

Why does 𜲶 show as a box?

Unicode 16.0 display guidance describes an empty box or code label as a fallback when a font cannot draw a visible character. If 𜲶 appears that way, the fallback hides the picture fragment; it is not another design.
